CHANEL ROOM TOUR

I finally finished designing my room! It took me about 3-4 months but I finished! This room I decided to go with a Chanel themed room. Beautiful black and white pillows, quilted bed drapery, the gorgeous sparkling chandelier; I went all out. This entire room was a project. I created the entire thing myself; this including the pillows, the closet, the Vanity, my shoe wall and finally my bed, which I converted into a couch during the day. When creating this room, I really wanted to make it mine. I wanted to display the things I love to look at. Such as My designer bags, shoes, makeup and clothing. Fashion and beauty means so much to me, and it makes me feel incredible on the inside while looking great on the outside.

THE PILLOWS

Pillows are one of my favorite things to create because they are so customizable. Screen Shot 2015-09-09 at 5.21.33 PM

I created two Chanel Pillows! Many people ask me “OMG where did you buy those?” When I tell people I made them, they start freaking out like I developed a new technology that will cure cancer! In reality all I did was iron on a picture I printed from the internet. Super easy, Super fun!.

THE CLOSET

It was so much fun to customize my closet to fit my exact needs!  Originally before I had just a basic closet and wanted to make more room. I wanted to maximize the usable space in my closet. I shopped around to many places, one being Ikea. Ikea has some AMAZING closet organizers like the PAX systems, however, I didn’t want to spend $1500 for my dream closet. So what did I do? I went to home depot! I magically found the CLOSET MAID!! The whole set was only $119 and it fit all my organization needs. I used this kit as my base and was able to add pieces to it and make perfect for every aspect I wanted my closet to have. In the end, after adding all the extra pieces I wanted, I spent around $250 for the entire closet. SUPER AFFORDABLE!

THE VANITY

Putting this vanity together was soooo much fun! I did a tutorial about how I put this set together

I used the IKEA MALM desk which gives the space such a beautiful and classy esthetic! It only costs $150 and is perfect as a storage facility for makeup. Also for the lighting on the sides, I bought those from IKEA as well, and they only cost me $30 for each. I then converted them to a plug in.

THE SHOE WALL

I was think of creating a video about how I created the shoe wall, If you all want it I will definitely make it, but I created this from scratch. By using Plexi Board, and wall hangers to hold the shoes up, waking up to all of my amazing shoes every morning makes me feel so chic, and tumblr ready for my day! The Canvas pictures of the Loubouitn’s  I spotted at Marshalls for only $14.99 each!

THE CHANDELIER

Screen Shot 2015-09-11 at 11.57.50 AM

I LOVE THIS CHANDELIER!!! I purchased it from Home Depot and it was only $99!!! It was a little tedious to put together, but It was well worth the price! The only downside, is just finding someone who knows how to wire lighting. Other than that I was so impressed by the size of this Chandelier and how amazing the price is. You get more than $100 worth of light. The material of the light is a plastic type material, but you cant tell when the light it in the ceiling.
